I have already sent these dates to a young woman looking for a discernment retreat. Now I pray that the Holy Spirit moves her to continue her discernment. Thank you for posting these so early. I am able to post them to our parish website, also.
Thank you, Sister Anne Marie. As a spiritual director we are very aware that your ministry is sensitive to God’s action in others’ lives. Peace and all good to you and all whose lives you touch.
We look forward to welcoming any young woman wishing to deepen her relationship with Jesus with an openness to the possibility of consecrating her life to God as a Sister!

Dear Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity,
Glory to God for everything!!
We see the “Vocation Retreats for Young Adult Catholic Women” on your website.
We would like to inform you that for summertime 2008, we have organized a Monastic Vocation Experience, entitled ‘You have seduced me o Lord’, in our Abbey from 18th to 26th August 2008 for young adult single men interested in religious-monastic vocation and Byzantine spirituality. It will be a marvelous opportunity to meet our Order, the Oriental spirituality, to reflect about the God’s call and to breathe in the Church with both lungs (western & oriental). This monastic vocation experience will include moments of prayer, of Byzantine spirituality, of reflection, of fraternity and sharing.
Visit our website.
Please, spread this information.
(Deadline for Registration: 5 August 2008)
Thank you so much!! God Bless You!

I am ready to sign up for the October retreat; however, one thing is holding me back. I do not have transportation. Is there any way for me to get in touch w/any women coming from Oshkosh or the Oshkosh area so that I might be able to carpool? Any help would be very much appreciated.
God bless!
I just spoke to Mary Bergant at Mass this evening. There will be a car going from Oshkosh to the retreat Oct. 17-19… so anyone else from the Oshkosh, Fox Valley area who needs transportation, contact Sister Anne Marie at 920-237-2344 and we’ll pick you up along the way.

There is still a car coming from Oshkosh for next weekend’s retreat with room for one more so anyone wanting a ride, call Sr. Anne Marie at 920-237-2344. I can’t think of a better way to spend a beautiful fall weekend than at our Motherhouse reflecting, relating and relishing God’s beauty and goodness.

Hello,
Are there accommodations available, or would I need to stay at a hotel? I am thinking of coming for either of the latest two retreat weekends from out of state.
Thanks!
Molly
Thanks for the great question, Molly. We provide overnight accommodations in our convent home. A retreatant only needs to bring personal items for a discernment weekend. We are open to some of our guests arriving a bit early or a bit late because of travel plans. Just let us know your needs.

I’ll be coming to the retreat in November unless Father Tom says other wise. I look forward to seeing you in September.
We look forward to having you join us for the Nov. retreat Leslie!
I am very much excited about the November retreat. I wish, however, there was a scholarship fund for women discerning to pay for their flights when they live far away!
Brittany, I’m wondering if you might check with the Pastor of your parish, or with the Catholic Knights, or the Serrans, or the vocation director at your diocesan office???
All of these groups are often quite willing to help with some expenses for young men and women interested in pursuing Priesthood or Religious Life. We continue to pray that you will be joining us for the Nov. retreat!
