    -made three new friends, YEAH!!!
    -made extremely stylish bags
    -went to Reconciliation
-had delicious meals (and I mean delicious, these Sisters eat really well)
    -blogged on this website
    -prayed (obviously) :)

-went to bed very late, distracted by a bright exit sign
-went rollar skating, on 80 year old skates, fell and skinned a knee. All is well.

Thanks to all you campers out there. Our prayer sessions on Simplicity were so enriching, not just for you but for Sr. Liz Ann and me. We enjoyed discussing and praying with you. your ideas on how to simplify life in this complex, fast-paced, technological world of ours were great suggestions. Let us pray for one another as we keep our discussions in mind.

  • Sister Rosangela

After reading all these comments I can see that Camp Franciscan was a huge success. Thanks to all those who helped in the work and planning. What a great way for young people to get to know about our Community. I was sorry I wasn't here for the talent show this year as I always enjoy it.

I think the Sisters involved in Camp Franciscan enjoyed it as much as the young women did. Well, maybe the coordinators were a bit too busy to enjoy it that much. The young women were full of joy and enthusiasm. Very contagious! :>)

  • Sr. Veronica

I was in retreat the week of camp. When I came back from retreat I heard many good things of camp, which includes the group was a wonderful group of young women, the talent show was superb and the good example that was set when the fire alarm went off and everyone moved out right away. May the Lord continue to work through your lives as you go about your activities this summer. Sr. Veronica

Your behind the scenes work before and after Camp certaintly helped it all to happen! Thanks for all you do!

  • sisterjune

Even though, I did not participate in the Camp as a counselor or leader. It was a joy to have the participants here at the Convent. The talent show with its dancing, song and instruments was great. I hope that we have touched your lives with our Simplicity of life. God bless.

  • Sister Theresa Schleis

I think you will always have a heart for the young Sr.Theresa!

  • Maggie Mcconnaha

Thank you again so much, sisters, for having us at the Motherhouse. All the way home my friends raved about how much we wanted to come back, etc. The food really is amazing, and I loved the area in which we slept. My favorite activity was called to be, with a close follow-up by flowers/jean bags. My friends Beth and Julie and I are planning to make jean backpacks, using the same idea. I can't wait to come back next year and wish that the camp itself could be longer.

  • http://www.fscc-calledtobe.org Sister Julie Ann

Maggie, we continue to retell all the good times of camp around our dinner tables, too. We would welcome you and your friends back to Camp Franciscan 2011. I'd like to see your jean backpacks!
