In Earthen Vessels –2 Corinthians 4:7-18

Now in earthen vessels we hold

wealth not gold, power not bold

just so many stories to be told.

Also in earthen vessels life strains

as time constrains, matter restrains

many verses of lyric refrains.

Yet in earthen vessels we discover

Jesus-Father-spent to uncover

Jesus-Spirit-sent to be lover.
